Stand with Randall

Randall Holmes, a progressive leader and friend of Democrats everywhere, needs our help.

As you probably know, last week Randall suffered a stroke and a subsequent car accident. He remains in critical condition as of this writing. Randall has worked tirelessly protecting Arizona’s election integrity, protecting and advancing our progressive values, calling out the true motivations behind Republican policy positions as a Billionaire for Wealthcare, and famously bringing us together as a party by inspiring impromptu Kumbaya sing-a-long during a contentious party election. Today, our friend Randall needs us to come together as a party once again.

Will you please make a donation of $26 or more to help cover Randall's significant medical expenses? As always, any amount is appreciated.

A generous D26 Democrat has pledged to match the first $200 in donations. Please join us in being there for Randall just as he has been there for us.

Note: 100% of donations will go towards covering Randall’s medical expenses.

What is Club 26?

Club 26 is a monthly membership program that enables Democrats to take direct ownership in the politics that affect our community in a way that has never been tried at the Legislative District level.

Too often in politics, we tend to work toward one political horizon after another. We mobilize when election season comes, and then return to our "normal" lives as soon once votes are cast.

D26 Democrats believe there is a better way. We aim to ensure our legislative district remains solid blue for the next decade.

Club 26 Benefits: Members

  • Discounts on products and services at local blue businesses
  • Free entry to all district events (Chair, and Legislator levels only)
  • Chances to win free tickets to special Democratic events

Club 26 Benefits: Businesses

  • A loyal customer base, grateful for any discount you see fit to give them!

How to Join Club 26

  • Donate money, $26 a month, or even 26 quarters (6.50) per month
  • Donate for an entire year in advance and pay only $260.
  • Donate your time knocking doors, working in our office, or as part of our Rapid Response Team!

Help D26 change the way grassroots Democratic organizations run and help us turn AZ Blue!

Chair: Purchase for $26.00 every month
Vice Chair: Purchase for $6.50 every month
Legislator: Purchase for $260.00 every year

Whining, Posturing, And Wild-eyed Scheming: It’s Silly Season At The Lege
The time for real work at the lege has passed. All of the Democrats and most of the rank-and-file Republicans in the lege are spending their days (metaphorically) twiddling their thumbs. On Thursday, the Senate didn't even have a floor calendar.

The Arizona Eagletarian:
Redistricting -- Will enough of it stick to the wall?
While it was no surprise that the GOP would continue its aggressive pursuit to undo the will of Arizona voters, the lawyers involved with UNfair Trust (Liburdi and Cantelme in particular) along with Lisa Hauser, did a superb job of keeping the basis for the challenges secret.

Monti Shill Advocates Breaking the Law and Violating the First Amendment by Destroying Political Signs

TEMPE, AZ - The Tempe mayoral race has been marred by some of the most negative campaigning I’ve ever seen. From mischaracterizations, outlandish attacks on character, to claims that border on slander, Michael Monti’s campaign will undoubtedly go down in Tempe history as the most dirty and dishonest in modern times.

I thought I had seen it all, but nothing prepared me for what I read in The Arizona Republic article, titled “Activist planning to remove pro-Mitchell campaign signs.” A.J. LaFaro, the chairman of the District 17 Republicans is openly advocating that Mr. Monti’s supporters violate state law and violate the First Amendment rights of our fire fighters. To be clear, by advocating for the removal of these political signs, the District 17 Republicans are encouraging open and coordinated crime.

As chairman of the D17 Democrats, I am dumbfounded as to why my counterpart would think his actions are acceptable in a democracy.

LaFaro and I may have our political differences. We may disagree about the direction of our city, state, and country, but I would never suggest to Democrats, Republicans, Independents, or any Mitchell supporters that they blatantly violate the law or infringe on anyone’s constitutional right to free speech. To do so would be wildly irresponsible and a betrayal of the ideals our country was founded upon.

I urge Chairman LaFaro to read the Constitution, respect the rights afforded to every American, and back off his call to break the law. Democracy shouldn’t be about tearing down the other the side, or in LaFaro and Monti’s case, violating the First Amendment and its right to free speech. It’s about ideas, vision, and leadership.

A.J. Faro’s actions have shown he lacks all three.
