Rally to Move #AZForward

What: A GOTV rally targeting the Rising American Electorate in West Mesa. Free to attend! There will be games, music, food, and beer. Completely family friendly, so bring the kids!
When: Saturday, October 25h, 4:00 to 7:00pm
Where: Mesa Riverview Park - 2100 W 8th St, Mesa

31st Annual Don Carlos Humanitarian Award Dinner

What: Congratulations to Neil Giuliano who has been named the 2014 Humanitarian of the Year. Neil will be presented the Don Carlos Humanitarian Award at a ceremony and dinner in his honor. Also being recognized is the Kiwanis Club of Tempe - Guiding Light Lifetime Achievement in Philanthropy Award, Gwen Hanna - Spirit of Tempe Karma Award and a high school student - Young Humanitarian Scholar.

BALLOT DROP WEEKEND

We only have 4 weekends left to the election and this weekend is the most important of the cycle. We need to have a good turn out, and make sure D26 carries it's weight in the statewide RAE turnout effort.

When we win for our slate, our congresswoman, and help deliever 4 statewide offices you will definitely want to be able to say you contributed to the campaign that finally, and permanently moves #AZForward. Please join us this weekend.

What: Join us for a canvass Saturday morning, and phone bank in the afternoon to encourage drop off voters to fill out the PEVL forms mailed to them, and invite them to the Rally to Move #AZForward.
When: Saturday, October 11th
Canvass: 10:00am to 12:30pm
Phone Bank: 1:00pm to 3:30pm.

Michael's PC Story

Many people would say that I have always been interested in politics. Thinking back, I would probably have to agree but I don't think that I fully understood the impact it had on my life until my mid-20's. Until then, I was apathetic. I knew things needed to change. I knew there was definite inequality in our society. Heck, I had experienced it myself numerous times while growing up. However, I never thought that I had the capability of influencing that change.

Representatives Sherwood, Mendez Endorsed by Parenthood Advocates of Arizona

Andrew Sherwood just completed his first term representing his district in the Arizona House of Representatives, during which time he came out swinging against bills that were designed to marginalize the LGBTQ population and harass patients seeking reproductive health services. The 26th legislative district covers parts of Tempe and Mesa, and is currently represented in the House by both Mr. Sherwood and his seatmate Juan Mendez, both of whom have received Planned Parenthood Advocates of Arizona's endorsement for their commitment to reproductive justice, equality, and education.

D26 VOLS ROCK!

We have 1 months to win for our state wide candidates!

We have office space, and we just need to staff it! It's campaign season and will be doing weekly canvasses and nightly phone banks in support of all of our candidates.

We will need canvassers, drivers, phone bankers, data managers, and chefs to cook dinner for our dedicated volunteers. There is a lot of work to be done, how will you contribute?
